Several carriers announced well over a year ago they would start applying a fee for all VGMs submitted after the official deadline. To date, the carriers always had a certain commercial approach but they have informed us they will no longer waive this fee.
Which means that Shipex will have to forward the invoice in case the VGM is submitted after the VGM closing.
Therefore please take extra care to strictly adhere to the VGM deadline to avoid this cost (and obviously possible shut-outs which always remain possible when submitting after the deadline).
