Several carriers have announced a congestion surcharge in Montreal

In view of the continuing disruptions to maritime traffic in the St Lawrence River, as well as local trucking and railroad issues, and resulting congestion at the port of Montreal as well as schedule delays over and above the seasonal norm, several carriers will implement a congestion Surcharge as from beginning of March 2019 for all cargo moving to/via the port of Montreal, Canada.
