In reference to our previous communication regarding cancellation fees amongst the carriers. We wish to summarize the latest updates for you in order to keep you informed.

A fee which used to be an exception in the past for some carriers, whereas now this fee is applied by all carriers, no exceptions made.
Cost and conditions vary from carrier to carrier.

In case of refusal to pay this fee, the releases of equipment and/or Bill’s of Lading of all new bookings are blocked by the carrier. As always, we will do our utmost best to keep you in the loop on the latest updates.

Below we have made an overview of the cost per carrier and the applicable conditions.

You will notice that the difference in cost is not based on the container type. Rather the time frame in which the cancellation is received prior to closing of the port or sailing date.
