The ongoing congestion in Manila has reached its peak and the situation is becoming hopeless.
The cargo is currently being dropped at nearby ports and is experiencing delays of up to 2 months.

It makes the port authorities in Manila feel compelled to take the necessary measures. It appears that all carriers have been given the necessary restrictions and are allowed to perform a maximum number of moves (loading/unloading) per week.

Consequently, the shipping companies are forced to increase their rates - through a peak season - with immediate effect.
