Dear customer,<\/p>\n
Please be informed that PSA Antwerp – the biggest terminal operator in Antwerp – decided to implement a yard opening time on Terminal 869 & Terminal 913 for all export containers as from Wednesday 31 March 2021.<\/p>\n
The yard opening time limits the timeframe in which containers can be delivered on the terminal – in this case maximum 7 days – before the vessel’s arrival.<\/p>\n
Due to the Suez canal blockage, all impacted vessels will run behind its original schedule and the terminal operator takes this measure to anticipate on the expected congestion at the terminals, as well as to prevent further delay on vessel schedules.<\/p>\n
For all the impacted vessels, a container can only be dropped-off – without any exception – at the terminal maximum 7 days prior to the actual vessel ETA.<\/p>\n
The same concept is already in place since a few weeks at DP WORLD Q1700 and one can expect that also MPET Q1742 will take preventive measures in one of the next days.<\/p>\n
