{"id":1739,"date":"2019-02-04T08:00:49","date_gmt":"2019-02-04T08:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/designaidproductionscom.webhosting.be\/shipex\/?p=1739"},"modified":"2019-02-12T08:11:20","modified_gmt":"2019-02-12T08:11:20","slug":"port-of-zeebrugge-services-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shipex.be\/en\/port-of-zeebrugge-services-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Port of Zeebrugge: services update"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>\n\t\tPort of Zeebrugge: services update<br \/>\n\t<\/h2>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shipex.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/daniel-van-den-berg-631306-unsplash.jpg\" alt=\"vessel + terminal\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"4527\" width=\"3018\" title=\"vessel + terminal\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>As from the beginning of May the members of the Ocean Alliance; being CMA\/APL, COSCO, OOCL &amp; EVERGREEN will introduce a second Far East loop out of Zeebrugge.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The largest vessels on their Europe \u2013 Asia trade lane will be used for this new routing with\u00a0Zeebrugge as first port of call on the West Bound loop.\u00a0The aim is to re-introduce Zeebrugge as one of the most important deep-sea terminals in Europe and to develop the port again as European gateway to transship cargo further to the UK , the Baltic region , Spain, Portugal &amp; Russia.\u00a0Although the exact transit times\u00a0 &amp; routings are still uncertain for the time being , the main focus for the export will be the port of Shanghai , Singapore and Port Kelang, that will act as a hub to serve all the Southeast Asian outports.\u00a0The terminal CSP Zeebrugge is investing strongly in the improvement of the intermodal connections by rail (dry cargo) &amp; barge towards the European hinterland such as Dourges, Lille, Rekkem, Wielsbeke, Gent &amp; Duisburg.<\/p>\n<p>In total 3 services will be launched.
