Shipments to Guinea: cargo tracking note & pre shipment inspection

We would like to remind you that all freights heading towards the Republic of Guinea should have a valid Guinea ICTN (International Cargo Tracking Note). It has been in place since February 2012.

International Cargo Tracking Number (ICTN):
ICTN replaces the former ECTN/BSC and has to be provided the shipper at the Port of Loading.

What is required to apply for Guinea ICTN?
The following documents are required for issuing an ICTN number:

  • Bill of lading
  • Invoice
  • Freight invoice
  • Export declaration
  • Phone number, e-mail address and NIF – Número de identificación fiscal of the consignee
  • Phone number, e-mail address and NIF – Número de identificación fiscal of the notify party
  • Phone number and e-mail address of the sender

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI):
PSI is to be carried out for all imports into the country. It is managed by BIVAC International (Bureau Veritas Group).
For complete information and to retrieve the "Fiche de Demande d'Inspection" (FDI), please visit the following website: www.bureauveritas.com/gsit

We would like to remind you that both procedures are compulsory for compliance with ISPS standards and for the clearance of your goods at destination.
